Hi Everyone, Join us in the garden at St. John's Anglican Church (33 Pine Street, Port Hope) on Sunday, October 24 at 10:30 for a worm composting workshop. Learn all about how worms take waste plant materials, such as leftover food, and turn it into rich soil for your garden or house plants. Worm composting is easy, inexpensive and, done correctly, not the least bit smelly or icky. Every household attending the workshop will leave with their own ready to use worm composting bin, complete with red wigglers, the Cadillacs of the composting world. The event is free. The event is open to everyone regardless of age, but children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information or to reserve a spot contact me Penny Nutbrown.
