The Advisory Board

… acts in an advisory capacity to the Incumbent and Churchwardens and makes recommendations on matters affecting the parish.  A key activity of the board is to guide development of a parish vision, strategy and plans for ministries. The desire is for our Board to be a place of inspiring ideas, open discussion and wise planning. The Board is not responsible for routine church operations —it is responsible for encouraging the Gospel!

We envision St John the Evangelist as:

    • Followers of Jesus who are united in the Gospel message that calls us to service and worship.

    • Rooted in an Anglican tradition, we adapt to current needs.

    • We offer hospitality to all. All who join us have a place.

    • With God’s help, we collaborate, innovate and respectfully apply our resources to further God’s work in the world.
