Workshop about Monarch Butterflies

Join us in the garden at St. John's Anglican Church, 33 Pine Street Port Hope, September 19, 2021 at 10:30 for a workshop about monarch butterflies with expert, Valerie Whalley. Val will share her experience and knowledge as someone who has raised and released thousands of monarch butterflies. Learn how you can help support this amazing creature, who plays such as vital role in food crop pollination. The workshop will be held outdoors under Covid 19 safety guidelines and is open to everyone who wished to attend regardless of age or church affiliation. Capacity limited to 10 families (although you can also just come on your own). Every family will receive milkweed seeds to take home and plant to help sustain monarchs in their own backyard. Contact Penny Nutbrown to register or for more information at 905 800 0857 or pmnutbrown@gmail.com
