The Community Garden - part of St. John’s Spiritual Garden

Calling volunteers!

Are you interested in helping us to get growing this spring? We need individuals, families and classrooms to serve as Seedling Foster Parents. As a Seedling Foster Parent, you would start seeds indoor in late March to be transplanted into the garden on May 21. St. John’s provides the seeds, potting soil and growing trays. The Seedling Foster Parents provide sunny windowsills and TLC. Last year, the Seedling Foster Parent Program gave the garden such a head start that we were able to harvest our first crops and make our first donation of fresh vegetables to the Fare Share Food Bank on June 16. To volunteer, please email Penny at pmutbrown@gmail.com.
